You must have seen that at the botton of your blogger template there is a Subscribe to: Posts (Atom) link. Blogger has added it so that the blog visitors can subscribe to your Atom feeds. However many people use RSS for their blog feeds . Moreover it occupies space at the bottom of the template and it doesn't look nice.
Many people must have tried to remove it by visiting the Edit HTML option, but they wont find theSubscribe to: Posts (Atom) part anywhere in the template. This is because it isn't written within the a href tag. However removing it is very easy.
Before you start the work, make a backup of your template as a precautionary measure. To remove it click on Layout and click on Edit HTML
Now select Expand Widget Templates. After selecting it, search for the following code in the template
Once you find the code, remove it and save your template. Refresh your blog and now the Subscribe to: Posts (Atom) link wont be there on your blog.

Open Links In New Window For Your Blog

When you visit some Blog or Website, you must have noticed that when you click on a link, it opens in a new window. This is a great idea used by many people as it keeps the users on your page and the users can also check the link that they want to see.
Sometimes the users click on a link thinking that they will return to your page after reading the content. However the links maybe so useful to them that they might not return back to your blog. This is not a good situation for you as you just lost a visitor. I am not saying that we should stop sharing links. Sharing useful links is a good thing to do. However if we make sure that these links open in a new window it will be great for us and the reader as well.

Enable DoFollow Comments On Blogger Blog

By default the Blogger blog has all the comments as No Follow. You have to edit some code to make your blog comments Do Follow. What it means is that these links pass on the link juice to the site to which it is linked. As a result these links are good for SEO. Hence many bloggers use Do Follow links in the comments section to thank the people who have commented on the post.
